Please take a moment of silence on Friday, November 19 to remember all the lives lost on North Dakota roads. ![]() This will be hosted by The North Dakota Department of Transportation Safety Division through Vision Zero. This year, North Dakota will host its first WDoR for Road Traffic Victims on Friday, November 19, 2021, at the North Dakota Capitol Mall. This global event is commemorated on the third Sunday of November each year and is organized to prevent such tragedies. The World Day of Remembrance (WDoR) for Road Traffic Victims is a high-profile global event to remember the many millions who have been killed and seriously injured on the world’s roads and to acknowledge the suffering of all affected victims, families, and communities – millions added each year to countless millions already suffering: a truly tremendous cumulative toll. ![]()
